Qld: Serial rapist appeals murder conviction

BRISBANE, Feb 27 AAP - A psychopathic serial rapist, who murdered a nine-year-old girl,
has lodged an appeal against his conviction and indefinite sentence.
Leonard John Fraser, 49, unemployed of North Rockhampton in central Queensland, was
convicted of Keyra Steinhardt's murder by a Supreme Court jury in Brisbane last September.
Keyra was stalked, attacked, raped and killed as she was walking home from school in
Rockhampton on April 22, 1999.
