Vic: Search for missing fisherman scaled back
The search for a fisherman missing since Friday in a lake in western Victoria is being
scaled back.
Fifty-one-year-old MICHAEL LYNCH, of Murtoa, was last seen fishing in his aluminium
dingy on Lake Taylor, east of Horsham, about 11am (AEDT) on Friday.
A short time later the four-metre boat was seen circling with nobody aboard.
Two fishing rods were left in the boat.
A full-scale search on the weekend involving police divers, water police and State
Emergency Service volunteers found no trace of Mr LYNCH.
A police spokeswoman says divers and SES volunteers will continue the search today.
